Lee Allen Jackson

Lee Allen Jackson, 58, of Harrell, died Monday, September 12, 2016 at his home.

Born March 30, 1958, he was a son of Berdie Lee Burks and the late Frank Jackson.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist  Church in Summerville, AR, He received his education in the Hampton School District where he was a standout athlete in football, basketball, and track.  He loved to fish and ride motorcycles.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Debra Jackson Smith.

Survivors:

His wife of 38 years, Mae Helen Sumler of Harrell.

His mother, Berdie Burks of Harrell.

Children, Clarence Sumler, Letrisa Sumler, Shundrick McRae all of Harrell; Sheneika Sumler of Warren, and Brenton Sumler (Tina) of Baton Rouge, LA.

Siblins, James Allison of Hampton, Alvin Green, Maudie Thompson (Larry) all of Cincinnati, OH., Larry ackson of Banks, Gloria Gant (Paul) of Kansas City, KS., Brenda Gilbert of Harrell, Irita Burks of Fordyce, Sandra Jackson Chanel Stanley both of Warren, and Joetta Hutchins of North Little Rock.

11 grandchildren, Zack, Tatyanna, Tre, Deveyon, Carter, Kemari, Evan, Alaijah, Cadence, Ethan, and Jase.

Special aunts, Betha Ferguson, Flossie Tatum, a dear friend Damion "Petey" Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were September 17, 2016 at the Hampton High School gymnasium with Rev. George Williams, Jr. officiating.  Burial in Ricks Cemetery in Harrell with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
