Billy Ray Thomas, 60, of Warren, died Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his home.
Born May 31, 1956, he was a son of the late Jimmy and Mattie Neal Thomas.
He was a member of Weary Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Marsden. He served in the United States Army and was a former bus driver. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was also preceded in death by 4 siblings, Ray Thomas, Earl Thomas, James Thomas, and Jimmie Nell Russell.
Survivors:
Siblings: Harry Thomas (Cleora), Barron Coleman all of Little Rock, Vernita Kent of Seatbelt, MA., Lula McFarland, Roy Thomas (Marilyn) and Phyllis Hines all of Warren.
Special niece: Yulonda Thomas of Warren

Funeral services were September 3 at Weary Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Marsden with Rev. Kelcey Highsmith, Sr. officiating. Burial was in Weary Rest Cemetery with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
