Alyne Connell Riley

Alyne Connell Riley, age 95, of Kerrville, Texas passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016, in Kerrville, TX. Born on March 25, 1921, in the Willoughby community to Sallie and John Divine, she was married to Al Connell on June 2, 1940 and together they had two daughters, Joyce Ann Connell Kruckeberg and Marilyn Connell Jenkins.  The love of her life was killed in a tragic accident September 5, 1973.  She later married Joe Riley and they resided in Monticello until Joe passed away. Also preceding her in death were brothers Ray Divine, John Donald Divine and sisters Leona Rhein, Ruby Cornwell, Essie Meeks, Lillian Black.

Alyne moved to Houston to be with her daughters and has resided with Marilyn and her husband,  Jerry,  for the last years of her life in Kerrville, Texas.

She is survived by her two daughters, Ann Kruckeberg of Houston , Texas and Marilyn Jenkins of Kerrville , and their husbands, GE Kruckeberg and Jerry Jenkins along with three grandsons, John Roberts Jr, Jerry Jenkins II, and Dr. Adam Jenkins.    She was blessed to have six great grandsons.  

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016, at Oakland Cemetery. She will be laid to rest next to her first husband, Al Connell, with arrangements by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Online guest register  HYPERLINK "http://www.frazerfuneralhome.com" www.frazerfuneralhome.com
