Achester Hines, 87, of Hermitage, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center in North Little Rock.
Born July 19, 1929, he was a son of the late Berry and Lucieal Hines.
He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged April 12, 1951. He retired from General Electric in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1992 and returned to Hermitage to enjoy his retirement.
Survivors:
His children-Perry Hines of Little Rock, Glenn Hines both of Hermitage, Theresa Hines of Canton, MS., Rita Robinson of Milwaukee, WI., Rosemary Robins of Jackson, MS. and Minnie Reynolds of Arden, North Carolina.
His brothers-Lenchester Hines of Hermitage and Jesse Ray Hines of Milwaukee, WI.
30 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandaughter and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were September 10th at Weary Rest Baptist Church in Marsden with Rev. Larry Hines officiating. Burial was in Weary Rest Cemetery with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
