Mary Ann Huitt Smith

Mary Ann Huitt Smith age 73, of Many, Louisiana formerly of Hermitage, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 9, at Sabine Retirement and Rehabilitation center in Many, La.  She was born February 16, 1943 at Eudora, Arkansas a daughter of the late Marvin Edwin Huitt and Annie Mildred Chambers Huitt. She was a graduate of the Hermitage Public School System, a retired CNA for the Bradley County Medical Center and a member of Hermitage Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands Nelson McMurry who died in 2002 and Ed Smith who died in 2009. Surviving is a son Bryan McMurry and spouse Shelly, Star City, Ark; 1 daughter Teresia Barbee and spouse Curt, Many, La; 4 brothers Wayne Huitt and spouse Lou Neal and Paul Huitt and spouse Gwen, all of Hermitage, Ark, Larry Huitt and spouse Carolyn and Joe Huitt and spouse Sharon all of Warren, Ark; 1 sister Peggy Adams, Warren, Ark; a special aunt and uncle Thelma Chambers Green and spouse Wilmot Warren, Ark;  2 grandchildren Chance McMurry and spouse Abby, Many, La. and Ryan McMurry, Star City, ark; 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services 10:00 am Saturday, August 13, at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in McFarland Cemetery at Banks, Ark by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren. Visitation 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, August 12,  at Frazer’s. Memorials preferred to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Road, El Dorado, Ark 71713.
