Mack Bowie

Mack Bowie, 100, of Warren died Friday, July 22, 2016 at his home.

Born August 13, 1915, he was a son of the late Ardani and Carther Bowie.

He was a member of West Cenral Church of Christ in Warren.  He was a former employee of Potlatch Corporation, working forty-four years at the Bradley Mill.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and growing his garden.  The Warren City Council renamed his street "Bowie Street" in his honor.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Mag  Bowie son Willie Mack Bowie a granddaughter Kimberly Bailey and a special friend Pearl Calhoun.

Survivors:

His daughters-Bobbie Bowie, Maxine King both of Chicago, Il. and Mary Ann Bowie of St. Louis, MO.

Nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were August 6 at West Central Church of Christ in Warren with Bro. William Hines officiating and Bro Michael Alexander, Sr., Minister.  Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
