Georgia Allen (Mae) Sutton Gates age 89 of Warren, AR died Saturday, August 6th at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in Eldorado, AR.
She was born January 23rd, 1927 in Vick, AR, a daughter of the late John Allen Sutton and Effie Lee Byrd Sutton. She was a housewife and homemaker and attended Christian Fellowship Church. She was also proceeded in death by her husband Willie Edward Gates who died December 13th, 1996. a son John W. Gates, brothers Richard Sutton and James Sutton and sisters Nina Dean (Tency Sutton) Rice, Hattie Mae Greenwood and Lucille Freer. Sons in law, Edward Stucks and Leon Wheeler precede her in death.
She is survived by 4 sons, Charles Gates and spouse Pricilla, Virginia Beach, VA; Clifford Gates and spouse Liz, Warren, AR; Jerry Gates and spouse Judy, Warren, AR; Terry Gates and spouse Angela, Virginia Beach, VA. 2 daughters Willie Mae Wheeler, Warren, AR and Linda Stucks-Taylor and spouse Danny, Warren, AR. A brother Johnnie Lee Sutton, Warren, AR and a sister Annette Rawls and spouse Dub, Warren, AR. 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
