Emma Jean Adams Hood, age 86, of Warren, AR, died Wednesday, July 13, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. Born May 23, 1930, in Kentucky a daughter of the late Shelly Adams and Norma Stumbaugh Adams she was a retired food service worker and member of First Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death was her husband James Hood who died March 10, 2003, a son Ralph Hood, a grandson Brian Dietz and six of her siblings.
Survivors are two daughters Sharon Dietz of Warren, AR, Marilyn Williams and spouse James of Rison, AR. One sister Lois Shaffer of Delaware. Four grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
