Karen Mae Boyette McDougald age 50, of Banks, AR died Monday, June 13th at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. She was born August 19th, 1965 in Warren, AR a daughter of Rev. Carrold Gene Boyette of Banks, and the late Wanda Jenkins Boyette. She was an in home care giver, a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Monticello and a graduate of the Hermitage Public Schools. Also preceding her in death, 2 sons Jeffery McDougald and Brent McDougald, a sister Janice McDougald and a nephew

She is survived by her husband David McDougald, whom she married August 22, 1981 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. A son Brian McDougald, Baytown, TX. A daughter Amanda Kelley and spouse Everett, Crossett, AR. 2 sisters Mary Burreson and spouse Dan, of Michigan. Rhonda Fuller of Warren, AR. 4 grandchildren Zanden Brent Kelley, Megan McDougald, Hannah McDougald and Chaz McDougald. 2 special friends Sharon McDougald and Machelle Temple.
Funeral services was 2:00 PM Thursday, June 16th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. David Inzer and Rev. Rick Bolland officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Active Pallbearers were Jason McDougald, Joey McDougald, Jonathan McDougald, Marcus McDougald, Jerry Lynn Hollingsworth, Mark Hollingsworth and Josh Scroggins. Honorary pallbearers were Bro. Don Smith, Dr. Joe Wharton, Douglas Boyette, Greg Hines, Heath Reep, Kyle Brown, Mondrell Thomas, Jim Moss, Marty McDougald and Lacey Hollingsworth.
