SHREVEPORT, LA – Graveside services for Mildred Smith, 83, was held at Hill Crest Memorial Park in Haughton, LA on Friday, May 6, 2016. Mrs. Smith passed away May 4, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1933 in Warren, AR to Bert Wright and Eunice Kelly. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Norris; children, Pam Knight of Shreveport, LA and Deanna Caldwell of Mineola, TX; sons-in-law, Fred Knight and Brad Bellinger; and three grandchildren. Although Mildred Smith loved flowers and plants of all kind, she would want to plant something that will live on for you and others to enjoy. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Haynes Avenue Baptist Church, 610 Haynes Ave., Shreveport, LA, 71105.
