Julie Elaine Trussell Donnelly

Julie Elaine Trussell Donnelly age 59, of Warren, AR died Saturday, May 14th at her home.   She was born May 3rd, 1957 in Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR a daughter of Betty Elaine Hamilton Trussell of Warren, and the late Edwin Roscoe Trussell.   She was a mother and a homemaker to her family; she was owner and operator of Deepwoods Farms, where tomato farming was her and Terry’s life.  She was a pioneer in the heirloom tomato market, where she was a founder of the Bradley County Heirloom Tomato Cooperative.  Julie was a member of the First Baptist Church, she was a 1975 graduate of the Warren Public Schools and after high school she graduated from Mrs. Wades School of Fashion and Merchandise in Dallas, TX; where she met her husband.  She loved her family, friends, her animals, she enjoyed reading books and especially summertime when she could garden and plant her flowers.  Julie was preceded in death by her father, a sister Rosalinda Trussell, her paternal grandparents John and Mattie Trussell and her maternal grandparents Horace and Verlee Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Donnelly whom she married September 24, 1982; 2 daughters Devon Trussell Donnelly and Scarlett Elaine Donnelly both of Little Rock, AR. 2 brothers Michael Edwin Trussell and Faye, Memphis, AR and David Roscoe Trussell and Susan, Maumelle, AR.  A sister Sharron Trussell Green and Gary, Warren, AR.

Funeral service was 2:00PM Tuesday, May 17th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Pattsville Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Gary Green, Mitch Forrest, John Gavin, Jason Green, Ryan Hicks, Emigdio Torres, Perfecto Torres and Dr. Paul Cooper. Honorary pallbearers were Nina Hickman Forrest, Harvey Helton, Connie Lovette, Joni McGaha, Kenneth Trussell and Warren High School Class of 1975.
