Born October 14, 1929, he served in the United States Army and the Korean War. He also worked at Potlatch for over 40 plus years until his retirement.
He was married to Ruby Lee Boswell Childs and to this union four daughters were born: Debra Miller (Ricky) of Georgia, Linda Kay Harris, Shirley Childs, and Gail Martin (Ronald) all of Warren.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his beloved daughters; 3 brothers, Grady Childs, Chester Childs, and Arthur Fay Childs; 2 sisters Mary Lou Hampton and Audrey Watson along with his precious grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Clinton Childs will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Banks, Arkansas. His nephew Rev. Carlester "Little Joe" Childs will be the Eulogist. Burial Arrangements will be at Childs Cemetery in Banks, Arkansas by Hammons Funderal Home 101 E. Elm St., in Warren, Arkansas.
