Virginia Castleberry

 Virginia Castleberry, age 89, of Beach City, TX (formerly of Warren, AR), died Monday January 25, at Methodist San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown, TX. Born November 19, 1926, in Gulfport, MS, a daughter of the late Sigard Jacobson and Edith Mynk Jacobson she was a homemaker, a Methodist and the widow of Gordon Castleberry who died March 16, 1996. They were united in marriage April 13, 1947. Also preceding her in death was a son Gary Castleberry. Survivors are three sons Donald Castleberry (Lillian), Beach City, TX, Gene Castleberry (Barbara), St. Mary’s, GA and James Castleberry, Jonesboro, AR. One daughter Elizabeth Markway, De Ridder, LA. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service was 1:30 p.m. Friday January 29, at Holly Springs Cemetery near Hermitage, AR, with Rev. Tim Saunders officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Chris Castleberry, Bobby Barnes, Beau Castleberry, Jim Castleberry, Bart Castleberry and Don Castleberry.
