Billy Alexander, 84, of Los Angeles, CA., formerly of Warren, died January 14, 2016 in West Hills, CA.
Born August 19, 1931, he was a son of the late Charlton and Alberta Alexander.
He attended Bradley County High and was a former member St. John AME Church in Warren. He relocated to Los Angeles in 1953, where he worked for R&F Construction and as a security guard for the county of Los Angeles. He was known as "Uncle Bill" to his family and kept them entertained ith his sharp memory.
Survivors:
His siblings-Margaret Poindexter of Moreno Valley, CA., Sarah Haynes of Carson, CA, and Lawrence Alexander of Inglewood, CA.
A host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were January 25 at Hammons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reginald Wesley Alexander officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery in Warren with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
