Jason Thompson

Jason Thompson, 48, of Maumelle, died Thursday, November 19, 2015.

Jay was born June 21, 1967 in Warren, to Bill Thompson and the late Sandra Johnson Thompson.
He was reared and received his early education in Watson Chapel, where he graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 1985. He also attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway for three years.

Jay was employed by Molex Electronic Solutions for 12 years.

He was a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church. He was an avid Razorback, Dallas Cowboys and Arkansas Travelers Fan. He enjoyed playing golf.

His survivors include his father, Bill Thompson of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Mark Thompson of Pine Bluff and Greg (Amanda) Thompson of Maumelle; sister, Tracey (Melvin) Creel of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Thompson, who passed away July 8, 2015.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 22, 2015, 2:00 - 4:00 PM, at Robinson’s.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 23, 2015, 10:00 AM, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverends Todd Howard and Steve Monk and David Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
