James Henderson Porter Jackson

James Henderson Porter Jackson  aka “Big Tony” was born November 4, 1967 in Warren, Arkansas to Bertha Lee Jackson and James Porter at the Bradley County Hospital.  Tony accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age until the Lord decided his work on this earth was done and called him home to rest on November 18, 2015 at the Bradley County Medical Center, Warren, Arkansas.

Tony attended Warren Public School.  He worked as a production worker.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and breeding pure breed dogs.  Tony lived for the love of his family and most of all the love of his children and grandchildren.  Tony married Tabitha Mitchell on September 28, 2002 and to this union one child was born.

He was preceded in death by his maternal & paternal grandparents, step father, one sister, one uncle, two aunts.

James Henderson Porter Jackson leaves to cherish his memories a wife, Tabitha Jackson, Hope, AR; his mother, Bertha Lee Jackson  & father James Porter both of Warren, AR; one mother-in-law, Pearl Anthony of Prescott, AR; five children-Garrick Jackson (Asia), Tony M. Jackson both of Warren, AR, Javolene Jackson & Swaynea Dixon both of Hope, AR and Jaleel Welch of Camden, AR; six grandchildren-Garrick Jackson, Jr., Drai’Shon Jackson, Tylan Dixon, Landon Jackson, Gabriella Jackson & Shamar Jackson; seven sisters-Christa English (Charles) of Warren, AR, Stephanie Farmer of Pine Bluff, AR, Carnelia Green of Little Rock, AR, Shelia Williams (Terry) of Houston, TX, Jonda Sparks of Grands Rapid, MI, Yolunda Lewis, Kenoshia, WI, Quadriyah Porter of Brooklyn, NY; three sisters-in-law, Cheryl Farmer (Eddie), Phelencia Wheaton both of Hope, AR & Yolanda English of Leesville, LA; five brothers-Willie Jackson, Marlon Jackson (Shelia) both of Warren, AR, Marvin Jackson of Pine Bluff, AR, Stanley Blue of Memphis, TN, Kenneth Porter of Houston, TX, Desmond Sparks of Dayton, OH & Lavette Lovette of Milwaukee, WI; three brothers-in-law-Mechedick Shabazz of Hope, AR, William McKillion, Jr. & O’Brein Colbert both of Prescott, AR.  He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special great-nephew, Landon Jackson.
