Linda West Harton Thompson

Linda West Harton Thompson, age 72, of Warren, AR, died Monday September 7, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born August 29, 1943 in Warren, AR, a daughter of the late Vernon West and Thelma Clary West she was retired from the Warren School District and a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death were husbands Billy Bob Harton who died October 9, 1988; Ted Franklin Thompson who died February 17, 2002; a daughter Pamela Renee Harton; brothers Jimmy West and Wayne West.

Survivors are one son Greg Harton and spouse Janet, Warren, AR. One brother Jackie West and spouse June, Warren, AR. Two sisters Sandra Johnson and spouse Earnest, DeRay McClain and spouse Mack all of Warren, AR. 2 grandchildren Brooke Harton and Logan Harton.

Funeral service was 2:00 p.m. Thursday September 10, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Charles Woolley officiating. Musicians were Linda Barrett, Ruth Lephiew and Randall Herring; Tim West and Jerry West sang. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Rye by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Tony Johnson, Renious Harton, Billy P. Smith, Wade McClain, Ronnie Harton, Ben Garner, Randy Hollis and Dr. John Durmon. Honorary pallbearers were James Harton, Charlie Doss, Rusty Harton, Michael McClain, Terry Harton, Shelby Brewster, Densil Stewart and Aaron Robbins.
