Mrs. Jean Ford Smith age 84, of Hermitage, AR died Thursday June 4th at the Chapel Woods Nursing Center. She was born April 9th, 1931 in Milo, AR, Ashley County, a daughter of the late George Ed Ford and Violet Richards Ford. She was certified nurses assistant and a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death was her husband Wallace Smith and a brother Henry Ford.
Surviving are 2 sons, Randall Smith, Hermitage, AR and Ricky Smith, Hampton, AR. 2 daughters Nola Kaye Johnson, Monticello, AR and Jamie Waterfield, Jersey, AR. A brother Frank Ford, Hermitage, AR and a sister Paulette Weiner, Conway, South Carolina. 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services 2:00 PM Saturday, June 6th at Gravelridge Cemetery with Rev. Don Smith officiating. Burial in Gravelridge cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation 6pm till 8pm tonight, Friday, June 5th at Frazer’s Funeral Home.
