Franklin Stanley age 74, of Hermitage, AR died Monday, May 18th at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born October 20th, 1940 in Bradley County, AR a son of the late Grady Stanley and Ruth Colvin Stanley. He was a farmer and worked in forestry, a member of the Moro Bay Baptist Church and a graduate of the Hermitage Public School system. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved playing music with his friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Sherry Layne Stanley, brothers Durell Stanley and Kenneth Stanley. Sisters Mayselle Rainey, Ethel Pope and Lenora Castellow.
Surviving is his wife Kathy Whitehead Stanley, Hermitage, AR. A son Kerry Stanley, Hermitage, AR. A brother Ray Stanley and spouse Evanelle, Hot Springs, AR. 5 grandchildren Leslie Huitt and spouse Matt, Brandon Stanley, April Bagley and spouse John, Chad Stanley and spouse Leslie and Travis Stanley. 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
