Roy Edward Preston, 64, of Harrell, died Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Cabun Clinic in Hampton.
Born June 23, 1960, he was a son of the late Jettie and Versie Preston.
He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Harrell, where he serrved as a Deacon in training and a choir member until his health failed.
He was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Survivors:
His children-Jessica Yeboah and husband Anthony of Dallas, TX., Jefferson Preston and wife Arlene of Bearden, Tijunita Preston of Harrell and Darnika Preseton of Thornton.
Siblings-Erma McElroy of Camden and Sherman Preston of Harrell
Grandchildren-Aaliyah Bivens, Ashati Yeboah, Iyana Ellis, and Ja'Koby Preston
A host of other relatives and friends, a special friend, Cindy Chambers.
Funeral services were March at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Harrell with Rev. George Williams III officiating an dRev. Rickey Smith eulogist. Burial was in Childs Cemetery in Banks by Hammons Funeral Home.
