David Lee Thompson, 67, of Wilmar, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his home.
Born March 21, 1947, he was a son of the late Charlie and Ruth Thompson.
He was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Wilmar and served two years in the United States Navy.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bell, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors:
His children - Charlie Thompson and wife Evelyn of North Little Rock, David Thompson, Jr. of Pine Bluff, Roxanne Thompson of Naperville, IL.
Siblings-Patricia Thompson Frazier of Hazelwood, MO., Eddie Garner of Houston, TX., Vertis Lee Hall of Tulsa, OK., and Katherine Davis of Oxnard, CA.
4 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were March 7 at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Wilmar with Rev. Ronald Gillespie officiating. Burial was in Wilmar Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.
