Athaleen Johnson Armstrong, age 91, of Warren, AR died Tuesday February 24, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. Born January 4, 1924 at Ingalls, AR, a daughter of the late Edgar Johnson and Gypsy Veasey Johnson she was a homemaker, member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the widow of Victor Reece Armstrong who died June 10, 1990.
Survivors are 1 daughter Vicki Stafford, North Pole, Alaska. 2 sisters Willie Mae Lovett, Newport News, VA, Elaine Yarberry, New Boston, TX. 2 grandchildren Denver Perry, North Pole, AK, and DeLisa Newstrom, Anchorage, AK. 6 great-grandchildren. Also, preceding her in death were brothers Virgil Johnson, Dalton Johnson, B.M. Johnson; sisters Audrey Berry, Lorene Reed, Margie Young.
