Clyde J. Ross


Clyde J. Ross age 72, of Warren, AR died Saturday, November 1st at the Bradley County Medical Center.  He was born March 19th, 1942 in Grant, County a son of the late  Claude Ross and Margie Trammell Ross.  In his early years he was raised in the Macedonia community (Cleveland County), he joined the United States Army, where he served in Germany for 3 years. He was a retired Potlatch employee with 37 years of service as a shipping clerk, he was an avid fisherman, hunter and was an accomplished Guitar player where he loved to play with his group “The Pilgrims” at churches and revivals.  He loved to write songs, was a BIG family man, and was quite the jokester and a collector.  He was also proceeded in death by his step mother Eula Ross, brothers Larry Ross and Ronnie Ross.

Survivors include his wife Willie Sue Orr Ross whom he married August 16th 1974 in Warren.  A son David Ferguson and spouse Susie, Warren, AR.  4 daughters Wanda Carpenter and Jim, Hermitage, AR; Donna Ross, Warren, AR; Renay Ferguson, Warren, AR; Mary Johnston and spouse Jason, Banks, AR.   10 grandchildren Desha Ayers and spouse Steve, Bianca Campbell, Jessica Hill and spouse Daniel, Nichole Thomas and spouse Chris, Maria Loera, Samantha Newton, Michelle Allen and spouse Brandon, Amber Newton, Mile` Ferguson and Meghan Ferguson. 14 great-grand children.

Funeral services 1:30PM Tuesday, November 4th at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation 6pm till 8pm Monday, November 3rd at Frazer’s   Online Guestbook www.frazerfuneralhome.com
