Ret. Police Chief Bobby E. Outlaw


Ret. Police Chief Bobby E. Outlaw age 78 of Warren, AR died Saturday October 4th, at his home.   He was born December 28th, 1935 in Possum Valley, AR a son of the late Albert Wesley Outlaw and Irma Glennon Outlaw. He was a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Army, a Vietnam War Veteran with 22 years of service and received the Bronze Star.  He was a retired police officer with the Warren Police Department serving 18 years and the last 8 years he served and retired as Chief of Police.  He loved fishing, working in his garden and especially spending time with his family and grand kids. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church where he served as a deacon and on September 29th, 1972 he married Glenda Goodman Outlaw spanning a marriage of 42 years. Also preceding him in death was a brother Leslie Outlaw, sister Letha Mae Saffold and Sara Dean Coddington.

Surviving other than his wife are 3 sons, Dan Outlaw and spouse Alicia, Rye, AR, Paul E. Outlaw and spouse Nikki, Warren and David Outlaw of Montana. A step son, John Clancy, Hermitage, AR.   A sister Ida Lee Sweeney and spouse Claude Jr, Hermitage, AR.   10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services 2:00PM Monday, October 6th at Frazer’s Chapel.  Burial in Outlaw Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation 6pm till 8pm Sunday, October 5th at Frazer’s Funeral Home.   Online guestbook www.frazerfuneralhome.com
