Joyce Marie Walton Briant, age 70, of New Edinburg, AR died Tuesday September 9, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. Born November 11, 1943 in Richmond, CA a daughter of the late Leroy Walton and Katherine Janoushek Walton she was retired from Masonite Corporation and member Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband Gene O. Briant whom she married December 17, 1960. 3 sons Troy Briant and spouse Debbie, Roy Briant and spouse Cindy all of New Edinburg, Coy Briant and spouse Cheryl, Collierville, TN. 4 sisters Ina Schwartz, San Pablo, CA, Charlene Foster, Vilonia, AR, Beverly Baldinger, Valley Springs, CA, Elizabeth Jenks, Post Falls, ID. 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. Also preceding her in death was a daughter Janelle Marie Briant and a grandchild Amanda Briant.
