David Wayne Carlton, age 42, of Warren, AR went to be with the Lord Monday July 14, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born September 16th, 1971 in McGhee, AR a son of Lorine Birchfield Carlton, Star City, AR and David Carlton and spouse Carolyn of Emerson, AR. He loved Jesus and everyone he met and always had a smile for all. He loved spending time with his family at home as well with his family at the South East Arkansas Human Development Center in Warren. He was a huge Arkansas Razorback fan and one of the highlights of his life was getting to go to a Razorback game. He loved music and movies and loved singing gospel music. He was a beautiful person that was loved by all. Also preceding him in death was his maternal grandparents DeWitt W. and Margaret Birchfield and his paternal grandfather Leonard Carlton and Raymond and Ruth Talley.
Surviving other than his mother, his father and step-mother are 3 brothers, Edward Carlton, Texarkana, TX, Billy Carlton and spouse Brenda, Emerson, AR, Timothy Beavers and spouse Ashley, Shreveport, LA. 2 sisters Juanita Evans and spouse Romney, Emerson, AR and Jennifer Morgan and spouse Chris of Star City, AR. His grandmother Juanita Bowles, Magnolia, AR and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Thursday July 17, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Denny Lewis officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist. Burial was in Palmyra Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Johnny Price, Chris Price, Terry Harrison, Chris Morgan, Antonio Davis and Monte Price.
