Ara R. Ferguson, age 89, of Metairie, LA died Sunday July 20, at St. Anthony’s Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Metairie, LA. Born May 24, 1925 in Cleveland County a daughter of the late Oscar Monroe Reep and Ophie Gavin Reep she was a retired secretary, member of Carrolton Presbyterian Church and the widow of Earl Edward Ferguson who died December 27, 1999. They were united in marriage July 12, 1953.
Survivors are 1 son Kenneth Hoover of Box Elder, South Dakota. 2 brothers J.P. Reep of Little Rock, AR and Kirby Reep of Spring, TX. 5 sisters Ladelle Wright of Monticello, AR, Gay Holloway of Scott, AR, Mary Alice Beasley of Metairie, LA, Carolyn Ann Watson of Scott, AR and Kay Nell Graves of Cabot, AR. 1 grandson and 1 great-grandson.
