Jean Wright Harrod

Jean Wright Harrod, age 84, of Ingalls, AR. died Saturday April 12, at Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. Born August 5, 1929 in Bradley County, AR. a daughter of the late Charles Ellis Wright and Birdie Holmes Wright, she was a retired sales clerk, homemaker, a Primitive Baptist and the widow of Jack D. Harrod who died October 21, 2004. They were united in marriage July 4, 1945. Also preceding her in death were brothers William F. Wright, Charles “Punch” Wright and a sister Eva Smith.

Survivors are 2 sons Donald Wright Harrod and spouse Sandy, Hot Springs, AR., Larry W. Harrod and spouse Judy, Temple, GA. 1 sister Sue Reynolds, Blytheville, AR. (formerly of Jersey, AR.), 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 15, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls, AR. by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Lynn Wright, Scott Wright, Randy Reynolds, Jason Johnson, Donnie Harrod, Ryan Harrod, Roger Harrod and John Harrod.
