Marietta Outlaw Chandler

Marietta Outlaw Chandler, age 88, of Warren, AR. died Monday March 24, at Chapel Woods Nursing Center. Born November 15, 1925 in Sumpter, AR. a daughter of the late Preston Outlaw and Esther Savage Outlaw she was a retired dietician for Pine Lodge Nursing Home, member of Calvary Baptist Church and the widow of L.C. Chandler who died August 4, 1976. They were united in marriage May 10, 1947. Survivors are 2 sons Roger Chandler and spouse Cathy, Sumpter, AR., Phil Chandler, Monticello, AR. 2 daughters Charlotte Laster and spouse Willie, Sumpter, AR., Paulette Calloway and spouse Bob, Warren, AR. 3 brothers W.T. Outlaw, R.P. Outlaw, both of Warren, AR., Holyan Outlaw, Sumpter, AR. 1 sister Oma Jane Hargis, White Hall, AR. 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 27, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Music was provided by Linda Barrett, Phyllis Stedman, Nicole Williams and Jimmy Ray Taylor. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Tracy Chandler, Tony Chandler, Heath Calloway, Brock Laster, Greg Hayes, Robbie Brock and Don Roseberry.
