Bobby Pickett, 80, of Banks, died, Monday, March 10, 2014 at his home.
Born May 5, 1933, he was a son of the late James B. Pickett and Alabama Morris.
He was a log truck driver for many years and loved to hunt, fish, and grow vegetables.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Earl Pickett, a daughter, Nancy Lane Washington, sister, Orvelette Turner and brothers, Dock Pickett, D.L. Pickett, D.V. Pickett, Lisbon Pickett, Odell Pickett and John Pickett.

His Children, Kelvin Pickett and wife Tammy, Jackie Pickett, Wanda Rhodes and husband Terrance all of Warren; Cedric Pickett and wife Barbara of Hampton, Bobby Partman of Marsden, Shwan Cross of California, Kathy Brazil and husband Joe of Fordyce
Special friend, Tyson Kendrix
12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were March 15 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Warren with Rev. Graylin Wilson officiating. Burial was in Pickett Cemetery in Hampton by Hammons Funeral Home.
